Clean place, stunning and amazing location, efficient stuff. Variety of toast, cereals and pastries at breakfast. Pet-friendly room and luxurious bathroom with a shower and nice toiletries. Location near the restaurant for breakfast and dinner on both days. Also, by stunning Peak District hills. Free parking on-site provided. Pool area was a big bonus too.

I stayed here for one night and was thrilled with its proximity to Mam Tor and the fine walks along the Dark Peak Estate. The food was excellent, tasting like something from MasterChef.

Recommend it for couples seeking a getaway
We loved the view from the Jacuzzi, overlooking the hills while sipping something cold-couldn't be better! And the food? Absolutely divine, the dinner was just rich and flavorful, every dish had us wanting more.
It wasn't inexpensive but worth every penny for the experience.

Perfect little getaway!
Wow, where to begin? My partner and I stayed for a quick midweek retreat. The room was fab, super comfy bed, and the view was amazing! Spa treatments were on point. We even tried the bar for a fancy dinner and breakfast, both delish! Just a shame about the noisy guests outside our window at night. Would love to come back again.

The hotel is set in stunning surroundings, with excellent dining and spa facilities. The small size of the spa and room made for a less relaxing experience than anticipated. Still, the warm and attentive staff made it a nice visit overall.

The Beautiful King Room features a super lovely big bed, combined with a spacious bathroom that offers good shower pressure and a selection of quality toiletries. Bottled water replenished daily adds a classy touch to the stay, alongside the peaceful ambiance that's nearly free from noise disturbances from the outside world.
The spa facilities fall short for the hotel's caliber, with limited space leading to overcrowding. The steps down to the lawn are a bit precarious, which might catch some guests off guard. Long wait times for dining can disrupt the flow of your evening, especially in busier times, as menus and drinks take longer to arrive than ideal. It could be nice to see an improvement in these areas to enhance the overall experience.
